About

My name is Serine Graham and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor.  I have specialized training in the treatment of anxiety, particularly Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.  I have an interest in this condition because I myself experienced it and eventually recovered from it.  I also have 22 years of sobriety.  There is nothing like personal experience to deepen understanding.

I have lived in the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan area for 25 years.  I attended the Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University where I majored in Psychology and minored in Philosophy.  I also received my Master’s of Counseling degree from ASU and have been in private practice since 2004.  I worked at American Psychology Services as an intern focusing on Solution Focused Brief Therapy and worked at Terros Behavioral Health Services in the Families First Program helping parents involved with CPS recover from drug and alcohol addiction and reunite with their children.

I was happily married for 34 years before my husband passed away.  I have four children and six grandchildren.  I have learned how to successfully navigate a blended-family, to maintain and grow a successful marriage, and have managed to survive self-employment.   I currently live in North Central Phoenix where I have my practice.  My life is focused on providing private, professional and effective treatment to my clients and I look forward to meeting and working with you.


My office is in my home to ensure maximum privacy to facilitate the safety and security of the client.  The address is in a safe and easily accessible neighborhood being close to Highways 51, 101, and I-17.  The house is approximately 1/2 mile south of Greenway Parkway @ 20th Street or 1/2 mile west of Cave Creek Road @ 20th Street.
